Graduation Admission Information
Admission for parents, family, friends, and the general public
Candidates will receive a maximum of 10 (ten) complimentary tickets for guests. In an effort to accommodate guests with tickets, the University will provide an overflow area for a limited number of guests and spectators who have obtained tickets. Tickets will be available at the Bethune Performing Arts Center Box Office. Details will be available on the University’s website at http://www.cookman.edu/academics/graduation/tickets.html.
The doors will open to the public at 9:00 a.m. Guests should be seated by 9:45 a.m. The Line of March will begin at 10:00 a.m.
Photographs and Videotaping
For videotapes (DVDs) of the ceremony, please contact the Campus Bookstore at (386) 255-1295.
No outside food or drinks will be allowed inside the Bethune Performing Arts Center auditorium/concert hall.
Emergency Medical Services personnel will be present throughout the ceremony. Please contact a Bethune-Cookman University usher or a Bethune-Cookman University public safety officer for assistance.
All cell phones and electronic noise-producing devices must be turned off during the ceremony.
Restrooms will be available on both levels of the Bethune Performing Arts Center. Please ask an usher for assistance, if necessary.
Commencement programs will be available at the entrance to the Bethune Performing Arts Center for guests and in the seating areas reserved for graduating students, faculty, and platform guests.
At the end of the program, the President will lead the platform guests, faculty, and the graduates out of the Bethune Performing Arts Center into the Centennial Gardens (on the east side of the building).
