Students on Campus

The Office of the Registrar provides several vital services to Bethune-Cookman University student, faculty and staff.  These important duties include maintaining all student records, processing financial aid deferments, processing transcript requests, evaluating transcripts for transfer students, verification of enrollment, and graduation qualification checks.  Add/drop class forms are also handled by the registrar’s office.

TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS

TO COMPLY WITH FERPA (FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT OF 1974), OUR TRANSCRIPT POLICY HAS CHANGED. PLEASE FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.  TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS CAN BE MADE BY FAX, BY MAIL, OR IN PERSON.  WE CANNOT ACCEPT REQUEST BY TELEPHONE OR EMAIL.

FAX REQUEST:

Fax requests can be sent to 386-481-2550.  But, first, you must call the Cashier’s Office (386 481 2292) to arrange a credit or debit card purchase. The Cashier will give you a confirmation number which must be included in the fax request.

Provide the following information in your fax request:

  • Your name (also include any other names used)
  • Your address and telephone number
  • Social Security number
  • Date of birth
  • Years of attendance
  • Cashier confirmation number
  • Name and address to send transcript
  • Signature and date

WALK-IN REQUEST:


Please make payment at the Cashier’s Office in White Hall. Bring proof of identification and Cashier’s receipt to the Registrar’s Office. You will need to complete a Transcript Request Form in the Registrar’s Office. According to FERPA policy, we will not release your transcript to anyone else without your written authorization and signature.

E-MAIL REQUESTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

COST:

The cost is $5.00 for an official transcript, and $3.00 for an unofficial transcript.  Each official transcript includes Registrar’s signature and Bethune-Cookman University corporate seal, and each official transcript is provided in a separate sealed envelope.

Delivery Time:

The turnaround time for transcript requests is generally 5-7 business days. During peak periods (such as registration & grading periods), turn-around time may be up to 14 days.

Express mail shipment is available for an additional $16.50.  These requests will be processed within 48 hours.
