B-CU Deltona Campus

Deltona Campus History

Deltona Campus

Bethune-Cookman University has extended its reach in Florida with the opening of its Deltona Campus. General education classes such as English and Math will be taught leading to degrees such as business administration, criminal justice, elementary education and liberal studies. "Young people and not-so-young people will have the opportunity to (expand) their formal education beyond high school," B-CU President Edison Jackson said at the campus dedication in 2013. "We want to offer a range of academic activities in a way where people can stay at home and do online courses. This is just the beginning."

The Deltona Campus looks to expand even more by offering more degree programs and certificates to the Orange City, Deland, Deltona and greater central Florida region along with being active in the community.

Thus, he proudly delivered a check for $60,000 to Bethune-Cookman University, and quietly asked that the funds be used to help current students pay for their education.
