Student Organizations
Eta Sigma Delta

Eta Sigma Delta is a prestigious honor society for students in the field of hospitality management, culinary arts and tourism. Our Eta Sigma Delta Chapter was established to offer our hospitality students a way to distinguish themselves amongst their peers. The members have an opportunity to showcase their leadership skills, academic strengths and community involvement campus wide; as well as to family and friends. Eta Sigma Delta would certainly be a “Gold Star” on any hospitality major’s resume!
National Society of Minorities in Hospitality
The National Society of Minorities in Hospitality (NSMH) was founded by four visionary students at Cornell University in 1989. NSMH is known across the country as the premier non-profit student-run professional organization for minority hospitality students. We have a very active chapter at Bethune-Cookman University. Some chapter activities have included a hospitality spirit week, mentoring partnership with the local high school, feeding the homeless, adopting a family during Christmas and many fundraising events.
