FAQ
1. Do I have a reserved room?
All freshman students are required to reside on campus, so yes you have a reserved room.
2. Can I choose which residence hall I want to live in?
You will be able to complete a Housing Preference Survey during Summer Orientation and the residence life staff will do our best to honor your request. Please note that all requests cannot be granted.
If you have not yet registered for Summer Orientation, visit orientation.cookman.edu for more information.
3. What's my room assignment and who's my roommate?
Room Placements and assignments will be made mid July. All assignments will be placed on Wildcat Web for your viewing.
4. Can I contact my roommate?
Once room placements are complete, you will be able to contact your roommate via Facebook or other social networks. (Residence Life will not provide student phone numbers, emails etc.)
5. What is Financial Clearance?
When all your financial aid, scholarships etc has been applied/approved for the Fall semester and is reflected on your account.
6. How big are the rooms?

7. What are the sizes of the beds?
Twin size beds or twin long beds in some halls.
8. Are all bathrooms community style?
No, some halls have adjacent (suite) bathrooms where only four (4) students share. Those halls are Jaflo-Davis, Thompson , Lee E. Rhyant, and Bronson Annex.
9. How many students to a room?
Bronson Hall and Joyner Hall house three (3) students per room. All other residence halls are two (2) students per room.
10. Does Bethune-Cookman have honors residence halls?
Lee E. Rhyant Residence Hall is Bethune-Cookman's Honors Facility. There is a GPA requirement of 3.00 or better. There is an additional $354.00 cost per semester to reside in this residence hall.
