Q: Where can I receive information regarding orientation?A: The Orientation Program Office may be reached at (386) 481-2141.
Q: Is New Student Orientation a requirement?
A: Yes. New Student Orientation is a tradition at B-CU. It is designed assist new student successfully transition from high school or community college to B-CU. In addition, New Student Orientation provides important information related to academic expectations and campus resources (e.g., financial aid, student accounts, on-campus living, student health, and other related information).
Special Note: Incoming B-CU students from the local Daytona Beach area, as well as commuter students, are also expected to attend and participate this program.
Q: When, Where and How can I sign up for Orientation?
A: Registration is not required. At Check-In, you will be assigned an Orientation leader and given instructions about the New Student Orientation program.
Q: What is a University ID and PIN Number and Why Are They Important?
A: As a B-CU student, you will be issued a photo “Identification Badge”. This badge should be worn at all times on campus as proof that you are a current enrolled student. Each student also is given a B-CU “PIN NUMBER” as a personal identifier in lieu of using their social security number.
Q: What if I am unavailable to attend Spring Orientation?

Q: Can my family attend Spring Orientation with me?
A: Yes. It is recommended that parents be present for the Parent Association meeting that will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 2:00 pm, in Kottle Hall, Room #101.
Q: When do classes begin?
A: Classes begin on Tuesday , January 15, 2013 at 8:00 am.
