Constructed through the generosity of Flora Curtis, a wealthy benefactor who wintered in Daytona Beach until her death in 1920, ground was broken for this residence hall in 1922. The oldest residence hall houses approximately 109 female students.  All rooms are air-conditioned and are wired for internet, cable television and telephone ports.  Students are provided with twin mattress, desk, chair, closets and book stands.  This residence hall has communal bathrooms on each floor.  Other amenities include washer and dryers on all floors, vending machines and student lounge on the 1st floor with flat screen TV.  The Residence Life Coordinator’s is located on the 1st floor and open 24/7.

Rev. John Harrington is Keynote Speaker and Honorary Degree Recipient at Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) Spring Commencement

Daytona Beach, Florida – Bethune-Cookman University is preparing to graduate 325 students at its 2015 Spring Commencement Exercises at 12 noon on Wednesday, 13 May at The Ocean Center (101 North Atlantic Avenue, Daytona Beach, FL). The Keynote Speaker is Reverend John W. Harrington, Chairman of Board of Trustees and also one of three Honorary Degree recipients.
