MISSION
The New Student Orientation and Leadership Programs Office is designed to assist first year and transfer students  in making a successful academic and social transition to the University. Through services and programs, we help students develop leadership skills that foster personal responsibility and civic engagement.

VISION
Our vision is to develop students of Bethune-Cookman University as productive citizens and leaders in a global society.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Programmatic endeavors include the following:

New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is offered in the spring, summer and fall prior to the beginning of classes each semester.  The New Student Orientation process is designed to help new and transfer students get off to a great start.  The orientation program will also allow new students to meet and connect with faculty, staff and current students, to register for classes, and provide them with information about academics, campus life and student services.  Attendance is mandatory for all new and transfer students.

Student Leadership Certification Program
The Student Leadership Certification Program is an interactive leadership training course designed to enhance students’ leadership skills and foster leadership opportunities for new and experienced student leaders.

Transfer Students
Educational programming and co-curricular services are designed to enhance the college experience for all students.  The Transfer Students Association is available to provide an opportunity for students to interact, network, and share a common bond with each other.
