Declaration Of A State Of Emergency
The authority to declare a campus state of emergency rests with the University President or his/her designee. Once notified, the Vice President for Finance and Administration will convene the Emergency Response Team. If not already on campus, these individuals are required to return to campus at the time the President or his/her designee declares a State of Emergency. The inability to do so must be communicated promptly to the Vice President for Fiscal Affairs and Administration. It is the responsibility of the Team member to identify and ensure that an alternate from his/her sector reports in his/her place own.
