Passing of Alumnus J.B. Turner

B-CU

November 27, 2007

It saddened our hearts to hear of the passing of one of our loyal alumni Mr. J.B. Turner, on Friday, November 23, 2007. Mr. Turner played a significant role in the obtaining of B-CU's present field house and is on the University's FTC Committee, which is spearheading the effort to finance the building of a new Football Training Center. He and his wife, Katie, worked hard to raise money for this project.

He was a member of the National Alumni Association's Life Membership Club and a member of the Miami-Dade Chapter's Diamonds Scholarship Club. His wife, Katie, is an honorary alumni and long-time B-CU supporter herself, and she can be reached at 954-431-6451 (home) or 954-243-6251 (mobile). Her email address is kbt240@yahoo.com.

In honor of his memory, a tree will be planted near the football training center that he and his wife worked so dearly for. Mrs. Turner is pleased with this gesture of love and remembrance. We are asking all alumni to lift them up in prayer.
