Hail Wildcats!  Bethune-Cookman University (B-CU) is aligned with academic and professional institutions across the nation and we are continuously improving our processes to meet your needs in this robust era of change, innovation, and transformation.  Your display of courage, integrity, and honesty proves you share our top priority – YOUR SUCCESS!

We ask for your ongoing commitment and enthusiasm in three critical areas that will help to strengthen the foundation for your success:

  1. Safety!  First and most important, I witness everyday that you understand the significance of “Safety First and Always.”  We ask that you always be aware of your surroundings – See Something, Say Something! Also, if you have not already done so, immediately download the Wildcat Safe App and learn to use the E2 Emergency Alert System.  These are essential tools that the University uses to keep you safe and alert.

  1. Wildcat Pride!  In pursuit of your academic goals and personal growth you will face challenges.  Use our history of creating outstanding professionals across career paths from the health professions to business, as well as our superb representation in the fields of athletics and entertainment to maintain your pride and loyalty to this historic institution.

  1. Image!  You are B-CU!  All that is thought about us, seen about us, and spoken about us is directly impacted by all that we do to secure our image.  Show excellence in being well-mannered ambassadors of change.  You came here to go beyond average.

I will close with a reminder from our founder – “We have a powerful potential in our youth, and we must have the courage to change old ideas and practices so that we may direct their power toward good ends.”  If we all commit to safety first and always, display our Wildcat Pride, and make an ongoing commitment to check our image, we will succeed.  We are the Wildcat Nation!

Best Wishes,

Jason E. Glenn
